Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at Purdue University.
My research agenda focuses on international political economy, inclusive development, and technology in international organizations. My dissertation explores how gendered economic ideas are created and changed among international institutions in the fields of development finance, public health, and digital inclusion. I use a variety of methodological tools in my research, including interviews, computational text analysis, and survey experiments. I have advanced methodological training from the ICPSR and IQMR summer programs and I have completed a graduate certification in Advanced Methods at Purdue in Behavioral, Health, & Social Sciences.
I have experience working as a researcher in the Global Development and Innovation (GDI) Lab at the Purdue Applied Research Institute (PARI) on international digital development and technology projects, including those in digital economy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and green technology innovation. I am also a research affiliate for the Governance and Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab (GRAIL).
I have experience teaching courses in international political economy and environmental policy. As an instructor, I aim to create an inclusive learning environment that provides students with the tools to apply political science concepts to the real world.
As an avid environmentalist, I enjoy hiking and horticulture. I have a love for travel and hope to visit a new country every year - my most recent travel was to Ireland. I am also always willing to share stories and pictures of my two cats - Wallie and Luna.
